Tazkira is the yearly ziyarat journey conducted by Minhajul Janna Dars, where students and members visit the maqams of respected scholars. The program is organized to remember the scholars who dedicated their lives to Islamic knowledge and to strengthen the connection with the traditional dars heritage.
The journey begins with a visit to the maqam shareef of our beloved Shaikhuna Parannur Usthad. Students gather at the maqam to recite Qur’an and make du’a while remembering the life and efforts of the scholar. The group also visits the Madavoor C.M. Maqam, which holds an important place in the scholarly history of the region.
On the first day of the Tazkira journey, the group visited several locations including Natukal, Kammusufi Maqam, and Manjakkulam. At each place, students spent time in recitation and du’a while remembering the contributions of the scholars buried there.
